In January 2007, RECO entered into financially-settled swap transactions with winning bidders for the energy and capacity needs of RECO's Central and Western Divisions for the period June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2010. RECO will seek to enter into similar financially-settled swap transactions, by means of an online auction. The financial swaps will pertain to 100% of the forecasted energy and capacity requirements for RECO’s Central and Western Divisions. RECO anticipates that it will issue a RFP in December 2009, setting forth the details of the auction process and providing potential bidders with the documentation that will be used. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
