The EDCs’ Proposal for Basic Generation Service Requirements to be Procured Effective June 1, 2026 (“Joint Proposal”) includes a tentative auction timeline. The proposed start dates are February 6, 2026 and February 9, 2026 for the BGS-CIEP Auction and the BGS-RSCP Auction, respectively. Please see the Calendar page of the BGS Auction website for all important dates relating to the 2026 BGS Auctions.

Results of previous BGS Auctions can be found on the Past Results page of the BGS Auction website. Information regarding the number of tranches won by each BGS Supplier in each EDC territory is typically released in early May following the BGS Auctions, approximately one month before the supply period starts.
